is the discourse of ‘healing’ a process of recuperation?

(or if it is sometimes, when is that and when is it not?)

(like I really want to go to therapy but I don’t want to become ‘well-adjusted’ ie not enraged)

and like, if your leg somehow gets broken bc of capitalism, it is true that getting rid of capitalism is a good idea, but you also need a cast and maybe some physical therapy

if you’re depressed and traumatized bc of capitalism/patriarchy/every other description of the horrific and horrifying society into which we are unwillingly and unwittingly thrust

well et cetera, right?

and maybe it’s a false analogy to equate ptsd/depression/other mental health issues with something as simplistic and physical as a broken leg, but maybe it really is that simple? 

(if not, why??)

it seems inappropriate and self-defeating that we should, by rejecting or denying the necessity of healing, embrace the damage we have suffered and survived at the hands of said society as our ‘natural’ selves— or the selves we ‘deserve’

to what extent can therapists provide ‘healing’ in opposition? and to what extent is the ‘healing’ therapists provide captured by the forces that caused the trauma itself?

It is up to all men to stand together and show society we are moral, decent, and respectable.  Follow this platform and encourage other men to do the same.  Embody the virtues of morality and encourage other men to do the same.  Refrain from smoking, drinking, yelling, arguing, swearing.  One day we will be equal to women!

I like how your first two points are a mockery of certain brands of feminism which focussed on political homosexuality 
I mean I know youre supposed to be taking the piss out the MRM but it’s a pretty darn good satire of feminism

in short your point failed 

actually my goal in writting this was to encourage MRA’s repeat every mistake that the feminist movements made.  (and a side goal of stopping hetero-sex)

If you read it as a critique of feminism, then I guess I did something right.
